My wife is choosing between schools in Chicago, Madison and Baltimore, and it looks like Chicago is the front runner. If/when we move, it would probably be sometime in the summer.
Disc golf friends, do you know anything about the Chicago or Illinois disc golf scene, best courses, tournaments, etc.?
Any recommendations on places to live near Evanston? Any job leads (I could send you my resume) in social benefit work, preferably?
I'm all ears.

Re: Chicago
I played with Dana Vicich this summer at the Vibram, he's an Illinois golfer and super nice, I would hit him up on facebook, he's a Vibram sponsored player as well.

Re: Chicago
I would convince her that Madison is where its at, but thats just me.
Former Team Wick player Jason Gordon moved to IL 2 years ago also to work at a University. You could probably get some contact info from someone in CT.
Nothing right in the city of Chicago but there are courses in the 30-45 minute drive range. Rockford is a bit of a haul but has a really nice course with a good club.

Re: Chicago
Actually, when it comes to "a dg scene", you could do MUCH worse than any of those!
Predominantly...
Chicago's is a little W of the city proper.
Madison's (WI, I assume) is a little N.
Baltimore's is N & W.
All have several really nice courses within 1 hr of city center.

Re: Chicago
played at The Oaks a few years ago on a business trip ... pretty good course ...
nothing too great within spitting distance of downtown, but the greater metro area (Chicago, Milwaukee, Joliet, and into Indiana) is pretty good from what I remember
