we were hoping folks mayb interested in a post Challenge buffet
& send off with awards and tasty micros & BBQ.
A DJ & karaoke options should fill da bill as far as entertainment goes.
A response regarding sat. numbers from each capt. would be appreciated
as Buck's will need added staff to accommodate our entire crew.

We'd also like 2 suggest additional awards for
the lowest singles & dubz scores. (we'll supply the awards)
If ne teams wud like 2 offer up CTP prizes that wud b cool as well.
just give us a heads up, so we can organize them.

Question. 2 courses right there. Why not utilize both so no one has to sit?

Afterall, its finals, in maine everyone is coming in from a distance just to sit? We'll pay full greens fees, that's fine and I think I am speaking on behalf of everyone.

two reasons.
1... being that its going to take a tremendous
amount of work getting one course competition ready
because of the xtra ordinary amount of sno this yr

and

2... these r the rules we were given at the beginning of the yr

But doesn't it seem weird that Farm team and the other top 4 teams have to sit 2 players?....

I totally understand the top teams having more scores to chose from than the bottom 4, but why not the whole team? 16-14?

That would be too many people for 18 holes, can't play in 7somes.

Thought at first more holes could be incorporated even if it wasn't a full 18, but I guess that brings all sorts of other nonsense into the picture.

yup, I can't wait. The Beast is a course that is a good proving ground for the top teams. Jeff told me the reason for not being able to play the Beauty is because the course will not be ready, the Farm team is going to have to put alot of work into the Beast to get her ready. Let's just hope the temps warm up and remove that last bit of snow up there.

Sorry to Jeff and the farm boyz for piling on a little bit, but my situation was a little isolated, with a new baby and trying to travel with Baby/Wife in tow, I needed as much prep time as necessary.

Never had doubt in the Boys as I said all along! Can't wait to come up and get treated some good ole Maine Disc Golf.

Just wondering if the Beauty will be playable for casual play for the players that have to sit during finals? 5 dollar random dubz if so?

Every captain please pm me the list of who will be attending/playing the 1st round at finals, I will use that list to make the groupings for the 1st round.

When do finals rosters need to be turned in?

No rush. Monday of next week will give me enough time. So we'll go with that.

Also, I can easily edit it if something comes up/changes, I just don't want to be bombarded the night before.

Every team plays their female in the singles round. If you don't have one present, your top 9 scores will count and the 10th will be the highest female score.

Don't have to play them in doubles.

Female scores definitely should count. We wouldn't even be in the A pool if it wasn't for the clutch performance of our woman. Yeeeeaahhhhhhh HudsonBomb!

they are treated as team members...remember burgess..remember..!

or maybe they would just enjoy all going over to the beauty and battling it out...for a 13th score..just a thought..they don't get many chances to gather in one place...

That's what I'm asking. I know they are part of the team, it's that exact reasoning that is the problem. Since they are just like anyone else some teams are having a problem HAVING to play them, when other members on the team have to sit.

They could all play Beauty if they want, but that wouldn't really make them part of the team. I want to hear suggestions on the best way to include them.

Our woman (Mo) can't make it to finals. We also tried a back-up (Becca) and she can't come either.

What do we do if you all decide something that includes their scores?

Every team plays their female in the singles round. If you have one present, your top 9 male scores will count and the 10th will be the female score. If you don't have a female present, your top 9 male scores will count and the 10th will be the lowest male score.
Don't have to play them in doubles, but absolutely still can if you so choose.

just feel like its a lil late to make any ruling... if this was before the season and you put this out there at the beginning of the year we may have put more effort into getting a solid commitment from a women

with them being apart of the team..forced to play them is absurd..they are not safe from bench as any other player..!

so the best way to include them..would kinda be to "seclude" them on the other course..sounds bad..but in all reality it allows them all to play and as stated before they never get a field above 4 in NE..so they will enjoy a group of girls..IMO

if a team has no girl..then give them the highest girls score..or something..IDK

no to question the girls abilities...will they all be on same card..sorry but I have been behind some girls while playing the back up could be crazy only thing worse is playing behind my scores..

so spread them out..? then ya lose the chance for them to all chill..and don't front girls you like that..and don't feel bad many guys also have bromances as I am finding out

with some teams being at a player disadvantage this really opens the door for the teams with more players to benefit if they were forced to play a girls and use as tenth score..edit..actually would be the same numbers wise....just seems a player of potentially higher ability is forced to sit possibly who's score may help the team..make sense..?
