Hypothetical divisional region based TC. Interested?

Post by Kelly Conroy »

The current hot topic is divisional TC based on balance and region. The number of teams and divisions are yet to be determined, so that information is unavailable.

ex.
1.
Noho
Tully
Maple
Dam

2.
Tolland
Wick
Thorn
West T

5 matches = 3 divisional + 2 interdivisional

These teams and numbers involved here are completely hypothetical, so don't read too much into this at this point.

Again like I posted in the other thread I agree with this format and think we should go for it. I believe that this regional set up would be beneficial to the A-Pool teams and to other teams trying to recruit but would also benefit the league as a whole.

I think you should make divisions based on all 17 teams, so people can see where they would actually play.

Yes I read it. I'm saying there is not enough information for people to properly cast a vote.

People could vote and then realize they are in a bad division like Nasa would be and realize they made a mistake.

It's a hypothetical poll Mike. If I had confirmation from every team that is playing next year, future teams included, I would be more than happy to accommodate. As it is right now, like it clearly says in the thread title AND the post itself...hypothetical.

Well that would be a conflict of interest then now wouldn't it Todd?

Then why even make it?

Stop, take a step back, formulate some better information, then post it.

You're only gonna get back answers from people who've made up their minds already, like you and I. People on the fence are given nothing base an opinion on here.

Help me find out which teams are in next year then. I have said this from the beginning. I need this particular info to begin.

Also exactly what portion of the league do you think your capturing with this poll..? I'd argue well less than 50 percent.

In baseball the AL West has 4 teams, the AL Central 5, and the AL East 5. It can be done.

Act like all 17. If the league switched to this format, no one would leave. You just don't want to post what the regions would be because it doesn't work.

Don't you have anything better to do than to constantly go around, thread to thread, pissing in everyone's cheerios? You do it constantly, no matter what the topic.

Dam Team
Tolland
(team with the weakest record the previous year, gets a bye, and thus a point in the win column.)

2.
Bennett
Bland II
WV
Nasa

3.
CL
Cran
Thorn
Wick

4.
Burgess
WT
Buff
Bland

P.S.

I think it has to be sat down and hashed out maybe with a gas mask present :drunken: :drunken: lol.

Man I think it is a good idea if done right and a terrible arguement if done wrong. Let's take some time and propose some real divisions with all the teams we currently have and then add in the three or 4 more proposed teams and see how that works out. Maybe it will show that it is a good idea with the right thought and planning behind it.

Looks okay maybe putting some of the proposed teams in there as well.

Its already been done Adam. Todd has already spoken to this issue and there will be changes for TC. Those changes will reflect the concerns of the majority of the people in TC. It will not reflect the people who want to start over from scratch.

Kiki is starting his own league and wants to see if anyone else is coming.

I never said that dude. Don't put words into my mouth. I still want this ONE unified league.
