disc golf chairs

Post by Jaxon Sheehy »

should i bother?

i've always thought- if you don't carry so many discs, or a chair- you don't NEED a chair to sit on

but regardless of bag-philosophy, there's just no way to control how unbearably slow the group ahead of you can be. do you think chairs save your back or legs?

what else should i consider as i think about stools?

it'd be funny to carry just three discs, but bring along one of those gigantic lawn chairs with the built in foot-stool and cup-holder...

Add a helium balloon for every additional disc. Although avoid too many balloons: http://www.snopes.com/travel/airline/walters.asp
As long as you are carrying a chair, make it a good one. I am also a ball golfer, where I carry a very heavy bag for the exercise. I think you can't carry too much disc golf stuff. Bring it all.

having a chair really depends on the course you are playing the tourney at. If it's fairly well known that you will be waiting on a bunch of holes then a chair is a nice to have whereas if you are just going to play 18 without much waiting then the chair becomes kinda a nuisance IMHO
