while playing a beautiful round of disc golf sunday morning with john giampapa and chris p, john chimed in after 9 holes and said something along this line...

"reason number 685 why i love this sport, i can come out here on easter sunday with a few buddys, smoke a cigar and have a blast"

best part of that phrase was the fact that i have never heard johns other 684 reasons why he loves this sport. so in good spirit lets start from 685 and work our way down to number 1.

thanks john, heres to you pal!

Speaking of John G.

I've played two rounds of Disc with John (he was in my foursome both rounds at the KOH tourney last year), and he was the first person to contact me with congrats after my win in that same tournament this year...so reason number 683, is making new friends with like minded crazy bastards that also love nothing better than throwing plastic in the woods on Easter Sunday.

Or not listed on the public portion of the forum. Why do you guys think the stereotype exists, on the Clemson Tiger Board the other day, someone posted that Clemson had come in 4th in the country in the Disc Golf Championships, and the first thing out of someone's mouth was, don't you have to be stoned to play that game?
