Wow, I just noticed that the snake and regional came out to be the same in both the 3 divison setups. Freaky.

with a few switches I like the concept though...

is hylands creating a team..?

or any others that may potentially add a team..?

I think Dam team may go tully/devens..so the east division may not be a spot for them

It may be helpful if A teams worry about the A pool; the B pool teams should probably butt out of A pool issues.

East, West and South are just what I used to label each division. Could just be A, B and C, it doesn't matter where the courses are located.

If new teams join they'd just follow the snake order. The order was based on last years finals results, then for new teams the order in which they signed up.

And yes we will be switching our home course due to both dam courses being unplayable in the Spring but we don't have to worry about what the divisions come to. I think as long as they are set before the year the divisions will be fine.

i think i like the B pool regional (2 divisions).. with 6 teams in each division you get 5 games oct-march with a possible cross division match.. you could then use the team records (best record chooses opponent) to determine who plays who in the last match in march or matches could be predetermined..

with this being 1 league still in essence with teams moving up and down...thresh hold teams should worry about the league as a whole..if steps are being made for a long term structure for future...teams should dissect all the issues..a/b pool before voting...so yes it would seem simple...A pool worry about A pool and B the same...its not though

I know TR may potentially be and up to A down to B so what happens is of value to my team

or keep hashing shart out when an A pool team moves down..or viceversa cuz they didn't pay attention to what was going on in the pool they did not compete in..I say everyone take a deep look..find a good structure and move on to having just great competitive fun

also I would suggest determining who will be responsible for over seeing B pool Finals before season starts...say last place team B pool..or last place A pool..IDK

A Pool doesn't get regionalized. It gets snaked in order of finish. To allow for balanced schedules.

It's based on last years finals results so they're both balanced.

You'd play the same schedule anyway, so it really doesn't matter.

I don"t think A Pool should be changed at all. You guys have a system that works well and you should stick to it. I feel with the increasing number in B Pool we will have a tough time with matches and records for our finals if we keep it the same. I think either 4 divisions or 2 seperate division will work. I don't think it has to be as set as everyone is making it out to be just put so divisions up and see where that goes. Top teams move to finals. We can even base the divisions on our finals from last year if that helps. 1st place goes to one division 2 to another and then back and forth from there. New teams get place as they get placed.

Just my .02

Ok so I guess I am a little bit surprised that people like the snake set-up since so many seemed to be calling for regional.

We have not yet decided what we like yet.

However, just remember (those that wanted to play teams closer) just because the snake looks good to you this year based on last years standings doesn't mean it will next year. I just don't want this to come up every year.

Another words I think when deciding we should vote based on what concept makes the most sense not what gives our team the best chance of getting to finals.

Yeah, I agree with Brad, that the regional set up is most likely the best as far as keeping this debate from coming up each year, and having everything run smoothly.

I also agree with Dave and cannot wait to just play :D
