Crane Hill Rd Rock Throwers

Post by Eric Kretschmar »

Please be aware that Crane Hill Rd is experiencing some difficulty with local punks who think it's fun/funny to throw rocks off the train tracks at cars. This is happening on the train trestle as you turn off of Boston Road onto Crane Hill (maybe the honking for the sharp curve is really to alert the people up there that you're coming so they can get ready to throw). I am only aware of all of this nonsense because my car was the latest victim last night. Luckily, like a fool, I chased them down, checked their licenses, memorized as much as I could, and the cops took it from there. I only have glass damage, but it's pretty severe for rocks that were only "accidentally kicked over the edge as they tripped walking down the tracks". It will be more of a pain than anything, and because neither kid had a record, the cops decided to just keep their information in case I have any trouble getting it taken care of. No arrests were made, even though they were 18. Sounds like a vicious cycle to me; if they keep breaking stuff, and the paper work never goes anywhere, they won't ever have a record and it will always be the excuse. Be careful out there, maybe a good huck with a 175 beast into the back is what they need.

Hey, if the cops don't do anything I would go to the next best authority figure in their lives........their parents. Odds are if they are chucking rocks off of railroad tracks in their spare time they may still live at home. If they are going to inconvience you I'd return the favor and in doing so hopefully they will learn a lesson.

Likely their parent(s) are Keystone Light swilling, GPC smoking, wife-beater wearing, toothless hillbillies who would be proud of their kids actions.

My apologies to Keystone Light drinkers, GPC smokers, wife beater wearers, and the toothless.

I prefer a lighter, wider-rimmed driver, preferably a 167 Opto Line Havoc. And not to the back but to the neck. It's one of those "Hey what's that up there?" fakes followed by the quick forehand to the neck.

You know, whatever. Maybe James Bond fantasizes about being a disc golfer.
