Online Cribbage League
So I guess there are a lot of cribbage players out there and I got a crazy little idea. Although Im still not sure how it could work or how we can do it but I think we could start some kind of Yahoo cribbage league. I would like to know if people would be interested in doing something like this or if someone has any ideas on how it could work. Just throwing the idea out there

I'd be up for that if we can figure out an easy way to do it.

Re: Online Cribbage League
I play at ecribbage.com They have lots of variants of cribbage if you like that type of thing.
We could start a cribbage league at Maple Hill in the Saphouse if anyone wants to do that. Maybe multiple games like cribbage, chess, backgammon, ladderball, darts, putting contest, etc.

I'd be interested. Yahoo! looks to charge you a monthly fee to play or setup leagues now, and not sure of any other sites allowing for private leagues.

I play a lot of cribbage on Yahoo as well. I'd be interested in a league of some sort to help pass the time once the it's gets dark earlier.

Im in, I know how to play, but I suck. Used to be good, when me and Todd used to play against each other when we were like 12... not anymore, but I'd love to play to buffer peoples records, lol.

The above site is interesting (for cribbage players) as it lets you know what other people will do with a difficult hand to discard from. Some people are very insightful in their comments, also.

Yup! With what you're giving there are only 6 cards out there that can do some decent damage(6pts)...the 4 7's, and the 2 8's.
Regardless though, it's really the 2 8's that can give the opponent any sort of advantage because any one of the 4 7's gets you the double run. 2pt net on your end.
Of course that's all assuming the other player didn't throw anything of significant value to pair up with those 8's, or didn't have any of the 7's
Any other set to the crib hurts your hand too much.
