The best way is to come before the tournament. Just to give you something to aim for. The course record for two rounds is 104 set by Dan Marcus this year!
Here are my course notes. Please add your own.
Hole 1 - A down hill throw. Keep it low. Don't over throw the basket as there is a steep dropoff behind it. There are no OB's unless you are way long and right, in which case you could hit Hole 4's OB. Remember, throw down, not straight out as you will hit the maple branches that line the fairway. Blue and White share the same tee.
Hole 2 - An uphill throw. You cannot see basket from the tee, it is over the shed. Best option is to stay right of the shed. Getting to or just past the stone wall is a really good throw.
Hole 3 - What a view! Throw downhill, basket is past the stone wall in the pine grove. Watch out for the OB on the left! A good throw is over the stone wall.
Hole 4 - Plan to throw just past the corner by the electric pole and red tee. Getting into the woods on the left can be a problem. There is an OB on the right, just past the steps.
If you can get your second throw just past the steps, you are setting yourself up for a good approach. Remember this is a par 5. Plan your shots!
Hole 5 - Basket is in the clearing at the end, a little to the left. Just concentrate on getting up to the clearing. You do not need a big throw to do this. Even in the woods there are still openings to the basket, if you get past the initial trees!
Hole 6 - Basket cannot be seen from the tee. It is just past the ridge. If you err, stay left as there are several corridors to the basket on that side. Many players try to skip the disc off the ridge. There have been several Aces on this hole. The trick is to not overthrow and end up hitting the trees early on.
Hole 7 - An easy toss downhill. Most people use a putter. Remember throw down, not out. There is no OB. If you overthrow you end up over the stone wall in a swampy area. Try and stay out of the trees on the left.
Hole 8 - You cannnot see the basket from the tee. Plan on reaching the clearing just past the orange tee. If you go too far right, consider playiing up Hole 9 fairway.
Going far left is diasterous. This is a par 4. Place your shots.
Hole 9 - An easy downhill thow to the basket which is protected by a small grove of trees in front of it. The trick here is to keep your disc from rolling down the steep sidehill! Watch out for this especially on your putt or you could end up very far away.
Hole 10 - A straight shot. If you go left, you can easily lose a stroke. Just aim for past the orange tee to end up with an easy par. There is OB past the basket.
Hole 11 - You can play left or right. The right fairway is the way to go, but being left is not too bad. There is some slope by the basket so land your approaches flat.
Hole 12 - This is a hole where placing your shots really help. This is a par 5 so plan to reach the corner in 2 shots. There is an OB on the right starting from the Blue tee. Once you are past the white tee, the woods on the right have some corridors, but try and stay out of them. There is OB along the left hand stonewall once you make the turn. This hole can easily cost you the tournament!
Hole 13 - Check to make sure the previous playes are done. The left hand stone wall is OB. Stay right off the tee. You can overthow this basket.
Hole 14 - It is best to approach this basket from the fieldd and not going for the opening in the woods. Either way, stay out of the leftside bush!
Hole 15 - Long, straight and open. This is a par 4 so just make good throws, you do not need great thows. If it is windy - good luck!
Hole 16 - This plays the hardest of all the holes. Just get throught the narrow opening and especially stay out of the trees on the right. A good shot makes it to the bend. Many people over throw their approach shot and it can roll a bit from the basket.
Hole 17 - The fairway is to the right, over the red/orange tees. You can go left, but there are trees near the basket that may block your shot. The stone wall is OB, so don't overthow!
Hole 18 - If you cannot make the corner, aim for the Orange tee area. This will give you a good approach shot. There is an OB on the right, but it ends around the red tee. Stay out of the righthand trees. There is a steep drop off just past the basket so be careful of overthrowing it. This is the 2nd hardest hole to par.
