More later as I am off to the course for final cleanup and to get ready for our Beauty Hill Turkey Doubles on Nov. 12th. A dubz event.
Toured the course, only found 1 piece of litter. Thanks for keeping out course beautiful!
This tournament took many helping hands. Let me recognize a few: Jeff Wiechowski and Sandy Redd for keeping those invitee list up-to-date. Dan Oulette and Phil Vimorin for the payout tables, Andrew McManus for garnering sponsorships and creating a killer program, our many sponsors for their $$$'s and ctp prizes, which made this a very affordable event. The cleanup done by Al Rosa on Friday. Rich Reilly and Rick Williams on Sat with setup, registration, scoring, etc. Marty and Betsy Vaughn, owners of Top O'the Hill disc course in nearby Canterbury for registration and cooking.
Hope someone has pictures and gets them posted!
Most of all my heartfelt thanks to all the players. It was sooooo great to see the course being utilized and appreciated.
Blaze and Lisa

Amazing day all around. Thanks to Lisa and Blaze for hosting and running this event, Rick Williams for helping organize payouts, and all other volunteers who made this event happen. I had never experienced Beauty Hill before, and the course lived up to everything I had heard about it. It was a fun series all year long, and getting to play finals with some new friends capped it off just right. Keeping with the thanks and praise... how bout that NEFA plaque?!? Great job Rob and NEFA board for the past and future recognition of people's achievements throughout the years.

Love this argument... Pro Open delivers a whole entire different amount of pressure, and different all together, atleast based on my experience...

Congratz to all the winners! :D Sounds like everyone had a great time!

Wow!!
What a pleasure to play in New Hampshire. Beauty Hill is a great course, only surpassed by the incredible hospitality of Blaze and Lisa
and all the NEFAites. The Granite State rocks! ( sorry, couldn't pass that up). The trophies are awesome, the pumpkin moon pies were
out of this world, the pumpkins were great, and the best weather in YEARS made this one of the best times ever. Best food spread that
I ever had the opportunity to partake thereof, thanks so much for keeping us fed and warm. The chowda was killa.
It was a nice year ending tourney and to play with the usual miscreants; Davis, Sully, Ken, and Patrick was a blast. And it was nice that
Rick Williams joined us for the final round. Still can't believe that Rick didn't get to play. He gets a sponsor's exemption if that happens again.
It was great to spend the night with the Green Mountain boys and enjoy the latest brewskis. HAd never played golf in NH and then hitting
Pinnacle on the way home was just frosting on the pumpkin.
Thanks to all the NEFA workers who work all season long to make things like this possible! Thanks!

Where else is that comment leading too?

We all know where Steve's comment comes from. Someone is going to say that Roger shot the best score for the day. This is true. In no way am I taking anything away from Roger's accomplishment or how he played. He obviously had a great day.

All Steve is saying is that there is a big difference when playing in the higher divison with more people breathing down your neck. Every shot has more pressure. One kick off a tree could lose the lead and make it that much harder to win.

Great Shooting Roger!! I played with you at Vibram on Saturday and your game is much improved.

Congratulations to Dave Boliver on a Great first overall title. Get ready for more competition in the Master division. I think that division is going to really start filling out more next year.

Jason Dore,..nice win for his first title. Great player and fun to watch throw big bombs. Nice to see him also get it done on a course that doesn't play to his distance strength.

Congrats to all of the other winners and to Sandy for sneeking in there and then pulling out a trophy!!

Just wish I was there. The body didn't allow for it this year but I'll be there next year!!

Actually its his second title. He took down the 2009 Finals up in Maine in a playoff against Marcus as well.

Hey Grandpa Gary, can you tell us a story about how you used to know Jason Dore when he was a young whippersnapper... way before he was a super star? :D

One thing I'll nerver be is a Grandpa. But you,...well that is coming for sure with that basketball team you have going!

I think Jason Dore is still a young whippersnapper. And damn good at discgolf. Wish I took the game up at the age he did!

I do remember this young whippersnapper that moved into town a few years back. Some newspaper did a story on him. I think he was the "best putter in New England". Do you remeber that guy Matt?

See you soon guy,..it's been too long!

Thanks to everyone in NEFA, everyone has done their part in making this season a great one! I love meeting and playing with new and old disc golfers alike. I truly think NEFA is an amazing group of people! Finals was not a disappointment for sure, it was AMAZING! This was my first visit to this course, and it definitely will NOT be my last! I loved the varied terrain, and the splashes of colors in the leaves made it even more special! The TD Blaze and owner Lisa and her crew were amazingly nice and hospitable! The lunch/dinner was great, but those pumpkin whoopie pies were simply sinful! Also thanks to Community Discs for hosting the first ever ring of fire I have won! Also special thanks Andy Powell for making that ROF win an even more memorable story, it was classic! Also coming so close to the CTP throw off was a highlight for me as well. I had a great day at Beauty Hill wrapping up the NEFA points series, which I tied the season with my teammate and good friend, Wendy Boutin. Great to know we set a record for the first ever point series tie, I love sharing a plaque with you! Yeah Maple Hill!!! To all involved with NEFA, big and small, THANK YOU!!!!! :D 8-)

Blaze and Lisa, on behalf of NEFA, let me extend my sincerest thank you's for from what I hear, was a tremendous finals weekend. In talking with a veteran NEFA player last night, it is my understanding that you put on quite the show and for that you should be congratulated. I certainly would have been there if my wife hadn't surprised me with a trip to Atlantic City for my upcoming 40th.

Thank you to all of the volunteers for running another successful season and here's to an even better 2012 8-)
