B2bombers. 'Ode to pleasant hill'

A little late but here goes
For our hosts at team challenge
Better late than never

B2Bombers were going to pleasant hill
To play disc golf, eat and swill
Upon 1st look it was quite a thrill
Minimal trees and elevation changes almost nil

Our team gathered in the parking spot
Wasn't quite cold,,wasn't quite hot
Gathered our gear and practiced some shots
Talked some [bleep] but not a lot

The time came to start the round
We all paired up and off we bound
Thanks to 420 my memories not sound
But the 2 nameless gents we played did astound

Their putts were almost always in the middle
Mine were low mine were high. It was a fkn riddle
Felt like I was bein played like a fine tune fiddle
But my mood got better as we headed for the griddle

As team mates came in I could see in their eyes
That this wide open course was a great big surprise
We knew we could do it with the afternoon try's
Back to the griddle...are there any frys

There were at least 4 tables covered with stuff
It was no doubt it was more than enough
I filled 2 plates and it didn't seem tough

Altho my full belly made the 2nd round tough

2nd round of best disc doubles
Didn't give my team mate and I 2 many troubles
Felt we had pulled ourselves out of the morning rubbles
But at the last hole we popped our own bubbles

Slight uphill putt,,might have been 14 feet
I know if I make it these guys r beat
And if I miss Bobby is sure to make it sweet
Need I say anymore...3holes into O.T another defeat

Almost all of team did as well in round 2
Added up the scorecards got ready to screw
Packed our gear and put away the brew
A good nights sleep we were all good as new

So you guys were good..have a little swagger
Dance around like little Mick jaggers
Your discs did hurt like sharpened daggers
I believe as a 'b' team your all sandbaggers

So now I will put down my pen
Nothing I wrote was made to offend
If we come to your place another time I surely will attend
But the scores will not be so lopsided again

B2Bombers came up and got our spanking
We deposited a loss as if we were banking
It also made us 1 lower in ranking
But we had a fin blast and it's you guys we r thanking

So shoot around your course with minimal trees
Shoot standing up or shoot from your knees
And here's a last thought,,consider it please
We didn't disc well but kicked ass in poetry
:D 8-) :drunken:

Thanks pleasant hill....come see us at borderland anytime

It's funny to see someone from the BackStreetBoyBombers
Callin' Us Assailants like a bunch of Osamas.

Good work.

I'll be down for sure... hopefully before or after the snow flies :)

Great poem Randy, you're a man of your word! I love Borderland and want to play that course again soon. The hole with the basket on the rock is ILL!
