Ice Fishermen? Check these out.

Post by Anthony Dembinski »

Any Ice Fishermen out there? I am selling 5 of my unused Indian Hill traps. hand made in Worcester by an American in America with American made parts.

http://www.indianhillicetraps.com/

The only difference between these pictures and my set are that my Spools are Powder Coated White.

They are 30" Fold Flats with a Red Stained Center Pole and a Red Flag. They are made of Oak and are the finest Traps you can find.

I have 10 of them and only use 5. This set have never touched water other then once. I have far to much ice fishing equipment (about 4 grand in gear) and want to switch some of that investment into my new hobby, Disc Golf.

They are retailed at 200$ (175$ for a set of 5 PLUS 25$ (5$ each) for 300' of line spooled on them.

I am thinking of letting them go for around 160. I willt ake tardes too... like disc golf baskets.

PM me with any questions.

Any other year and i'd consider grabbing them. Doesn't look like there will be much ice fishing in the cards this winter!

Damn global warming!

I need to get my ice fishing fix. Those look like solid tip ups. I wish I didn't get all new gear last year or I'd for sure take them off your hands. Good luck selling/trading for them.

Oh were ice fishing, last Saturday there was a 26lb 50" pike pulled out of South Pond, and a 20lb pike was pulled out of Quaddik in CT on Tuesday.

And although those look like decent traps for sure, nothing compares to Jacks Traps out of Maine.

Nice! Where is south pond? None of the ponds/lakes around here (Eastern MA) are safe enough to walk on yet.

These make jacks traps look like they are made in china. I have own both brands. Indian Hills are superior in every way. I have used and handled every brand traps and Indian Hills are the best.

not only for the quality but the service. the guy lives in worcester and will repair his traps for free if anything breaks. he will also upgrade them if he changes the design at all.

I used to ice fish a LOT, but it's taken a major back seat since i started disc golfing...
finally sold my auger last year, but still have a ton of gear.

Always swore by Heritage Laker tip-ups...

Went and met up with him in Palmer today and then immediatly ran to MSt and spent the 150$ plus 60 more lol.

Bought a Innova Basket (the 179.99 one) a new DX Roc and a new disc for my son.

Thanksfor the interest guys.
