Making home brew beer is as easy as making a package of Mac n Cheese.
I have had a bunch of dudes asking about doing it themselves and where to get the equipment.
This is the best deal I have seen so far for a starter kit with an easy first batch of ingredients.

You will also need a metal pot that can hold 3 gallons of water. Easy peasy.

Steve I've got a home brew kit similar to the one you posted. I'll be giving it a try soon. I know a few DGers that brew.

We should have a Home Brew tasting at a tournament. Might be fun!

I just started Home Brewing. It's good fun and fresh beer. You will get hooked.

Opening a Black IPA today. A few other in the pipeline; Rye IPA, Pale Ale and an IPA.

I have a California Common in the tank, it'll be ready in a month or so. Brewing a batch of American Wheat today.

Great Thread! Lets keep it goin'! There seems to be a bunch of us Homebrewers in the disc golf world. I've talked it up many o times on the course with Timmy Walsh, Jim Myers, Craig Gangloff and others.

I've been at it for just over a year. My next move is to get off bottles and into kegging. Instant satisfaction!

I was told that I can't start brewing until we move out of our apartment.

Out door brewing is pretty easy. Just need a propane tank and burner. Then about 2 square feet of closet space to ferment.

Outdoors you wont have to worry about a BOIL OVER on your stove. Which is what just fkn happened while I posted. Every time you turn your back, sugar everywhere!!!!!!

Wife is due home at 3, I'm screwed!

Definitely just brew outside! Much better on a heavy duty cooker anyway. Faster boil.

are you guys brewing full grain or with extract? Is it worth the extra trouble?

I do a partial mash, I dont have the equipment for a full grain. I do make extract batches when I run low just to keep something in the pipeline.
Extract brewing can make a delicious beer. You are just limited on what you can make and the range of flavors you can produce. I just put an American wheat beer in the fermentor that was all extracts and hops. It will drink just fine.

I'd take Greenleaf's beer over almost every other homebrew, his IPA is top 5 on my all time list.
