Re: Innova blizzard discs
Have a boss and teedevil. I can throw the boss farther than any other of my discs with less effort. Teedevil is to flippy for those that throw with high spin.

Re: Innova blizzard discs
a lot of the molds they've tried in the blizzard process have seemed to keep their stability overall; more flippy than heavier stuff obviously, but like Jesse said they can bomb. Wiggins reportedly threw a 150g blizzard Boss 828ft.
I have a feeling that when this process gets fine tuned and nailed down, it just might change disc golf and course design.

More likely the technology would be capped/banned than courses made longer. Not predicting either to happen though.

I wrote a quick "first impressions" blog article of the Blizzard Wraith for this morning- I liked it, but it's only been two days.

Anyone checked to see if these float?
Might be another added bonus.

Nice review. I've been thinking about trying out one of these new discs.....and Cliff Stephens is a great course.

good to know/hear- been wondering about durability, I wonder if I should've grabbed a destroyer instead of a wraith...

Mine have only been thrown a handful of times and they have some very un-champion-like dings in them.

I'll second that. I dropped one on asphalt and scarred the edge pretty easily. Love the distance you can get at half the power but I am less than impressed with the durability.

How's the Blizz Wraith fly? what's the max weight on these things... ?
Might have to try and get a couple.

Re: Innova blizzard discs
I bought a 137 Boss today at Marshall Street. It is super duper flippy. If you want something that you can throw with full power, you probably want to get 147+ range. just a guess though as where then line between flippy boss and stable boss. I never tested out the floatablility of it though.

Re: Innova blizzard discs
I was lucky enough to get Avery Jenkins on the phone- (trying to do a grip eq bag review/interview)- so I used the chance to ask him about the Innova Blizzard discs- he said he just got through doing a desert long distance session. I was surprised because he said the Destroyers were much more stable than the Boss's. He described the Destroyers as almost too stable for the desert distance stuff- but that he got a Blizzard Boss out to 202m.
He also said he was throwing weights up to 158 grams.
Anyone else get the Destroyer? Sounds like a lot of folks with either the Boss, Katana or Wraith-

Re: Innova blizzard discs
Does anyone consider throwing drivers that are routinely 30-40 grams lighter could possibly cause a wrinkle in their consistency?
Not completely game altering, but throwing one way for ever then altering your delivery to compensate for the weight difference of these Blizzard discs versus a traditional weighted distance driver?
I cant wait to try one.
Different is always, well, different.
Better? Remains to be seen

I suck normally, so losing consistancy isn't an issue.

Re: Innova blizzard discs
I laid my hands on the Blizzard discs.
I
my eyes. Kinda laughed.
Spoke with Hoey for a minute about them.
Did not buy any, due to inconsistent material composition.
I kinda formed my own opinions about the manufacturing process and theory behind the New Releases.
Top players MAY utilize these discs. I guess we'll see at the Vibram Open in August
How about TITANIUM in discs. Its next....
