Pelham League

Post by Tom Whissel »

Hi,

Is there any weekly get together at Muldoon? I work in Andover and it would be nice to play once a week on the way home.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

Go to Happenings and Hookups on the main Forum page and you'll find a link to Pelham's leagues. Looks like there's a Sunday and Tuesday this year.

Also if you work in or around the business parks on the south side of Andover (Ballardvale) and not on the northern side (i.e. Shattuck Park), you can actually zip over to Burlington for a quick lunchtime 9. You have to keep the pace up, but I work in the Ballardvale area and it's definitely doable. Bring a lunch and eat it in the car. It's a rush squeezing it in, but it gets the DG itch taken care of for the day.

Alan,

Thanks for the tips. I believe I will be trying out the League at Devens. Looks like Luke is setting up for a good series. I had not thought about Simonds, but I am on the north side of Andover, River Road, not something I could do for lunch. :( Happy Spring!

Ah yes, River Road, born and raised off of that street. Well if you play ball golf as well, you also have the driving range on Chandler road for some lunch time fun as well...

Where do I find information about Pelham leagues? Is there a Wed. night get together?

FYI, there's a LEAGUES sub-forum under the NEW HAMPSHIRE forum. Also, there's an AREA LEAGUES page on NEFA.COM - send a request (to Jeff?) with info to get added to that page.

Course update...

BIG THANKS to Ken Marshall, Greg Bianco, and Martin Desch for the work they did on the new trails, signage, basket, and tee pad. Great job guys! The changes have reduced the cross-over, added a practice basket, and changed one of the holes completely - a nice lefty friendly hyzer (thank you very much).

Thanks again guys, for all the hard work!
