Help!! Where to print Weatherproof Signs??

Hello all,

I need your assists...

I'm near completing the tee & directorial signs for Austine DGC. All saved in .PDF format.

But I'm at loss on finding a printing service that can able to print on weatherproof materials (metal or plastic types). I've called around the local printing services and most of them cannot able to do it but they can print out paper and then place it on the plastic/metal board. I don't like that.

I like the Tully's tee sign concept. Its perfect for long-term year-round uses.

Just point me to the right directions (emails, phone numbers, etc.) to have it done!

Thanks a bunch!! :)

We did the Central Park signs thru them and the J-Park ones will be arriving any day now. Once you sign up with them they'll send you special deals each month. We held out for free shipping on the J-Park ones because 29 signs would've cost a bundle to ship.

18" x 12" are $28.76 each on aluminum(.040 gauge).

You can arrange the text and graphics however you like.

Yikes!! That's a little too big and bit pricey!!

I'm only interested to the size of 8.5 x 11 (legal letter size).

I agree with you that metals seems to be better choice than plastics which can be easily cracked or break off.

I guess I'll have to fund-raise some moula (need about $980) before ordering 35 metal signs. :?

Patrick you can get smaller ones for a cheaper price. We just opted for that parking sign size. Find buildasign on facebook for a 20% off coupon code. The site sign editor program is pretty easy to use. You can upload your own images add text and clip art pretty easily. I just ordered all the J park tee signs 28 tee signs 12x18 and a directional sign 30x24 for like $710 with that 20% discount. 12x9 signs are $19.60 each

Thanks for the tips.

I already have the .PDF files ready to be printed on.

Just need to do bit more researching to get good deals.

Still need moula though!!

To save money, Laner printed up tee signs on his home printer and laminated them for Page Park. If you make the holes in the pouch before sending it thru the machine it seals the gap. As far as I know the signs are water/weather proof.

This what we are replacing at j park. They work well but eventualy water penatrates. Great for a course in development as replacing the sign when a hole gets tweaked is not a big loss.

Start shopping around for sponsors....... $40-50 per hole and they get permanent publicity. We sold 28 signs in less than a year.

Bridgeport (Park City) has some great all weather signs that have so far withstood all weather and paint baller abuses.

Wow!! Holy Mackerel!!

A super huge thank yous to Howard Printing for doing this for Austine course!

FYI, its just simple heavy paper color printing. I will have them laminated and mounted on boards. I'll await to see Titan to work out a deal for better quality signs with his connections.

i used to work at a place like 8 years ago that has a bunch of locations in massachusetts. We cut out adhesive vinyl on a plotter and then stuck onto either metal or plastic substrate. i would definitely try and find one of those in your area and get prices, would absolutely hold up in weather.

duh! the place is called Sign-A-Rama..
