I have been approached by the Ronald McDonald House in RI to see if i wanted to help out at their walk and put on a disc golf clinic. I plan on doing this no matter what, so i'm just looking for people to help and who would have more baskets and some discs for the kids/adults to toss. I know this would be huge for growing interest here in RI because there is a big draw to this event. My idea for the day is to have it run somewhat like how Titian runs the Special O event with putting, but the area is pretty big, so we could do a very mini 3 holes or so depending on space given. So who's with helping RIDG?

The walk starts at 9:30, so i would like to have things set up by 9. Will talk to people about if there are any special times they need people in by or set up by.
We will be in the field down by the big marble amphitheater.
I am planning of have a mini 3 hole course set up. All just 70-120 ft shots.

It will be a good time.

Titian,

I think it went pretty good. As T.M. said, we set up 2 short holes and a mini putting station. We probably had about 30-50 different people come though and play, most, if not all seemed to have a good time. Some kids couldn't get enough and played for at least an hour. Most of the people and kids i talked to had never played disc golf before and were interested. I think this is what the state needs for the growth of the sport. We gave out and talked about the program T.M. will be running on the 20th, hopefully we see some new and familiar faces.
