so recently with all the DG expansion..blah blah some discussions have arose

what is..or do we have to many COURSES...? great question IMO

or what happens if we have to many courses will it affect other courses..ect ect on the thought ya get the point

ok so in my honest opinion we can have to many courses..for several reasons kinda a long blah blah as why I will assume peeps can use their imagination and fill in the blanks

if peeps disagree and think put a hole where ever ya can I would love to hear your reasons/theory long term plan as to why..

I like this model that seems to be a theme of late
public----evolve----nice public leagues/events/locals/ect ect

private DG only w/ proshop(why proshop its a long story)----local serious DG'ers sick of crowed public place as locals from public evolve..they transition

some alt place..examples hylands,Fish and game,ball golf..some place where they don't just need DG to survive to say I guess..just to stimulate or offer something crazy different from above gives the DG a sense of wow DG is going mainstream kinda..gives us an in to totally new markets as in turn the property as well

ok that said I can see this

another public course on opposite zone from current public course moving towards a "major gap____bob joke here" or DG deadzone maybe 9 depends on population maybe another 18 right away

I am finding old skools in my area resurged at the opportunity to help out on a crappy piece of land and left tullz once it went "pop" for lack of a better term..so the DG expansion is ever moving forward

I only see a rift if 2 "private" just for DG are to close as it ends up being this click and that click kinda thing..so 1 is good IMO unless major population can sustain

so then I could see some other ALT course go in maybe even just seasonal or just to offer their members ect ect some new recreation and not kinda trying to make it a GEM just a RECreational place...

and THEN THAT IS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if we flood the market we will all be screwed one day....what we need to prevent is this happening and trust it will start to occur everyone and their brother is gonna want a course..watch a new gEN o-bliv to the DG scene...we cant stop that cuz peeps can do what they want I guess but this is where regional clubs need to make themselves seen in the community so peeps see some functional club to over see and guide interested people for courses..they look for guidance and ya can fill em on reality that hey this area is kinda set we need to get to this area over here somehow kinda thing

its hard to get peeps to work on a course at times..imagine if someone went rogue for say in my area we have FR Tullz Petersham and soon 2 more niners on far outskirts moving towards greenfiled/garnder..all in the game plan for expansion and all fit key spots moving towards dead zones but still buffered just enough and at at different stage of construction..being 9 holes peeps will still need that 18 feel and FR,Tull,Petersham still shine above
ok now someone comes in and say hey the other ball golf course..we will put one in...then some guy wants to be franchi...and then some other park wants to be tully or school..I could see this maybe the other 2...errrr

so we have like 10k in peeps and 9 courses...lol not cool but cool for a lil bit

I would rather see these dead zone filled in then a flood job...or at least links to these deadzones

build these places up..then get to the schooools so we can fuse DG into the community forever as the youth dictates the future

so lets all focus on the deadzones and not the flood zones...and someone responsible needs to start the parade into the schools around here....I still laugh when people fart and giggle at the word boobie everytime I read or hear it so i am not gonna be that guy ever

and if some newb gets bright idea to put a course in somewhere it is just rediculous and not needed speak up
cuz we now need to protect what we have built and manage the expansion responsibly keeping the long term plan in mind
