Discraft customer service is the shiz!

Post by Kyle Stevens »

Anyone who has played with me knows I love my Z Nukes. I'll throw them damn things all day long, drives, mids, putts, I don't care! The Nuke was made form my hand. But I've had some issues with them lately. I have 2 nukes that somehow I managed to keep out of the water at Tully.....I was throwing them frequently, everywhere, but a few months back, my oldest one developed a large gash along the rim, about an inch deep and at roughly a 45 degree angle.

A few weeks later I had another Nuke that suddenly appeared with another gash, about the same depth at about the same angle. I wrote it off as just coincidence until a few weeks ago, a third Nuke appeared with the same gash.

If I were to hold the three discs together under the light, you would see one large split. Really uncanny!

So I'm thinking something doesn't add up here and I shoot off an email to the discraft customer service email on their website with pictures of the three. Within a day I get a response from a fella named Erich, and he apologizes for my frustrations and says he will see what he can do about it.

Today, I get home from work and there is a package waiting for me on the kitchen table. I'm all panicked because my wife is looking pissed and asks if I ordered more cigars. At this point I'm honestly not sure whether or not I ordered cigars or not and begin preparing for the thrashing that is sure to come...im talking straight up marital apocalypse here!

Then I see the return address...and my blood pressure drops....all is well again.

Erich, the fella that returned my email, was awesome enough to send me two, brandy new Z Nukes! He even sent the correct weight!

I am now a Discraft SNOB for life! That's the way to treat a customer for sure!

Way to go Discraft, a class act for sure.

I wish I threw hard enough to ruin a disc

Amazes me that more businesses don't realize how something so simple can gain a lifetime customer...
I'm like the Lebron James of disc golf...except for, you know, that whole being a giant douche thing.

Hilarious.
Oh yeah, that's great about Discraft's customer service, too.
