Just to let everyone know Wordens Pond Disc Golf Course is opening to the public on May 1st. Its 5 dollars for the day.

For those who played Wordens last year you may not recognize it this year. The course has had vast expansion utilizing new areas of the land thereby increasing the distance and difficulty of the course. After several rounds so far it plays much better than last years presentation. Only 3 of the original holes remain, its been completely revamped. I think most will really like the changes. Hope to see you all there.........

I lost an off white CE Eagle on Tuesday. If one of the Rhody boys found it, I would be happy to meet up for a round on Tuesday to retrieve it. Ninigret? Hope someone found it... :cry:

Wish I knew. It was not in the bag the last time I went out to play. That was the last place I had it. It was likely a mulligan, and could be in the open. Hope you find it. :roll:

Word on the street is that the course is closing on August 1st. Is this true?

Yes. According to Norm the campground is pulling the baskets and selling everything (at a great price) to him. So hopefully there will be another 18 hole course in the RI area in the near future.

Sorry I never had the chance to check it out.

rob, they will probably be out of there soon next week. Terrible news. On the flip side, mike d - josh found your disc, he'll get it back to you.
