I need an easy button

So only 5 women will play overall and the only competition is in Advanced Women (2 players) Int (2 players)? I get that we have fewer players overall, but it doesn't seem like a championship if there is no one to compete against? I assume there is a thread somewhere that each region allocates based on the pool of players, etc. I just thought I would make the point that it seems like slim pickings in the lady dept.
