I probably would have picked the Wings over just about anyone other than Chicago. Nice win by them last night. That is a great offense to keep quiet. Hawks in 6.

Go B's. Nice to see D-Rooks picking it up, but it has to be big boys tonight. Youngster Seguin and old man Jags tonight??

How does Krug not get called up before this with the sub par season Ference had?

1) I don't come on here that often anymore
2) I already said I hope i'm wrong

If they move on, you better believe i'm picking against them again.
3) Love the fact they are up 3-0, but am still not drinking the kool-aid. They've won some close games but still think this team has serious issues if/when they move on, that they won't be able to get away with against teams like Pittsburgh or Chicago.
4) Ference didn't have a bad year. He started off very poorly, but was arguably one of their best defensemen the final 1-2mos of the season. I'd like to see him stay, but Krug is earning a spot on the roster if he keeps playing at this level. Kid can flat out skate and handles the puck incredibly well!

Kool-Aid? This team is good. Lundvquist is the only reason last night's game was close. Oh and Happy Birthday.

I feel like last night was the best game the Bruins have played since they shutout Philadelphia back in February. They outplayed the Rangers in every part of the game and could have very easily been up 3-0 after period 1 if it weren't for Lundqvist finally showing up in this series. Huge win. I think they have crushed their spirits and I expect them to finish them off tomorrow.
This Detroit-Chicago series has gotten very interesting. Its too bad the next game is at the same time as the Bs because I really want to watch it as well.

and also bad!
They played BAD hockey for majority of the season. Not OK...not mediocre...BAD hockey.
Have they played well this Rangers series? Absolutely! It sounded like last night they put together a full 60-minute performance for the first time in a long time. Was pissed I couldn't watch it.

Oh you didn't see it? That explains a lot. They were awesome.
I agree they were terrible at the end of the season and at times in the first round, but that's water under the bridge if they continue to play at this level.

I listened, and could tell they were playing well. Saw highlights after work. "That explains a lot"

One 60-minute effort is not going to change my outlook on the team! Sure it gives reason to be optimistic....that they've shown they can play at that level. Had they played a real solid first round against the Leafs, and followed it up with this stretch, then I might be a little more optimistic about them.

One 60 minute effort?

They've been the better team for all but one period through 3 games. BTW this is much more fun than actually working. I'll be back. Gotta fill up my glass with more Kool-Aid.

Ya...that was their first 60-minute effort. Just because they won the first two, and were the "better" team for majority of the games doesn't mean all is well in the world!
They are lucky to be in the position they are in. Tuuka has bailed them out if some really poor play!

Note to self: don't go to bathroom during hockey game. Penguins can score, and score quickly!! Man, what an onslaught!! Then switching channels before a period starts, and coming back to see a 6-2 lead...... oooofffff crushing blow to Ottawa

Patrick Roy as Av's Coach? I lost all respect for him AFTER he left NHL. He is a big ego A-Hole. He coached his son and seemed more focused on teaching his son to brawl than play with honor. Sorry, but I hope he burns hard; he is a total jerk.

Blanked the Hawks tonight.
Time to shut the door in Chicago.

The gameplan Detroit has used on Chicago has been very effective. I wouldn't count the Hawks out just yet.

Tuukka playing a little pee wee hockey last night.....
Chara with a little deja vu from the finals, letting the defender scoot around him.....while Rask coasted around the net.
The crowd should light a fire for them on Saturday.

Other than those two plays which were obvious breakdowns, I thought that the Bruins outplayed the Rangers. Saturday night should be the closer. Penguins will likely finish off the Senators tonight so the longer this series goes on, the more rest they get. Time to close.

I always knew Crosby was a whiny little b****, but I didn't know he was a pedophile. His mustache is a dead giveaway.

Syndey played more like David Crosby. Thought he had more class. Should have been penalized for hitting Rask, who doesn't get rattled.

I'd be ashamed to own a Thidney Crothby jersey after he has shown what type of character he has. True colors come out during playoff time...2 straight years he has shown he is a whiny little punk.

This bum gives moustaches (I prefer the British spelling) a bad name. If that's all he can muster at the age of 25, then i feel bad for him. He has to be the worst looking best-player-in-his-sport of anyone in any sport.
He's certainly no Justin White.

This Penguins team doesn't look like it even cares...i'm not sure why they even bothered to show up in this series.
In the 1991 Wales Conference Finals, Pittsburgh lost the first two games before responding with 4 straight to win the series 4–2 and the Prince of Wales Trophy. Hoping history repeats itself!
