Lurkers that have sent emails
Huge thanks for early pledges of support
It really is refreshing to have people give commitments
This really can be a great way to get dg back to its roots and show a group effort for the cause

Let's keep things rolling don't be scared !

Titan, I just sent you an email. I can spare some time from Coggs for this project.
To all the rest who might be reading this: What this project will need most once it gets the green light is BODIES. The examples of "The General" at Devens and Otter Brook show what can happen if enough people show up. Not just for one special event workday, but for several occasions over several months. This I know from my own work at Coggshall: a course is never truly finished, but it can be made playable in fairly short order with enough raw muscle power.
Never worked on a course before? Don't think you're "good enough" at the game? Doesn't matter. It doesn't take a lot of ability or experience to be able to clear brush and deadfall. Even if you don't own tools you can still help out. I'm sure we'll be able to draft a few chainsaw and brush cutter operators for the heavy clearing and those guys will need helpers to carry away what they cut. Or you could spring for a bow saw and a pair of loppers. There's almost always some trim work to do.
I'm looking forward to helping out on another new course. I'm sure there are a lot more of you out there who feel the same. So come and join us, and get all muddy and sweaty and bug-bit and scratched up from the puckerbrush and afterwards we'll down a few cold ones and fling some plastic.
Rick

I should be able to help work on this. Having a course 2 minutes away will be amazing. I plan on paying for a basket also.

thanks,

rick I have disc from tully land f for you as well, I grabbed from gen pop

duke def

I must say this last delay my fault, I have an email just for this type project and thought it was synced to phone...found it strange no emails for week or so checked today Rachael had emailed me back the day I sent email

1 hole is not on map as file was corrupted I actually have not viewed email attachment yet as I just got home,

so I will check that out and try to figure it out, she can then fudge it in she says but I would like to get out there and grab the official cords

I am going to forward the attachment to the next city official to see if it is acceptable for debate purposes

A volunteer has stepped up for Facebookpage for gardner dgc
that way communication can eventually be distributed there tosee whowe can grab that is on the new age internet

I will try to post picture of layout tonight

progress!

I can't really tell if a hole is missing or if she just filled it in already

the map is great came out really nice overlaid onto the new imagery of gardner from last years flyover after timber harvest

I can't seem to post picture
anyone lurking that can I will email file LMK
sent an email to JW to see if he could

I started a new thread
map will be posted there and the discussion will be moved to there as well

I archived this thread in first post as well

My old user name won't allow me to edit thread title hence the need for change
