I hate to say I told you so!... A phrase, by the way, noone ever really means. Kind of like, "That hairpiece looks good on you" and "No honey, those pants don't make your butt look big"

You, in all honesty, thought the Bruins would sweep that Penguins series?

Even if you say yes, I don't believe you

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid - it's working. :thumright:

Why else would I have posted it? Unless that Kool-aid was spiked.

The Bruins had the 6th most wins in the NHL and the 5th most points. Just because they're not the best team, doesn't make them bad. Typical spoiled New England sports fan problems!

Best two teams in hockey were Pitt and Chicago. Bruins are on top of the 2nd Tier, far from crappy. Yes they had some bad losses at a seemingly critical time, but it's not like they were getting smoked every game.

I think most Bruins fans saw a good run coming after that game 7 win. I said it was eerily similar to the Red Sox coming back from down 3-0 and then riding the momentum crushing St. Louis. Hell after the first 3 games in Toronto it was obvious they were playing harder than when nothing was on the line at the end of the season.

Did I expect them to absolutely [bleep] on Pittsburg? Obviously not. I'm in no way shocked they beat them and was totally confident in handling the NYR. Hence the Heady Topper! :drunken:

You keep pouring the Hateraide, and we'll keep drinking it. Seems to be the hockey equivalent of the Grenade, which is scientifically proven to be effective!

kovo has gone mad...I am a sharks fan but I can at least admit the bruins are better then an "ok" team..heck in regards to being an actual "team" they are miles ahead of others..esp that yankees style team in pittsburg

Got home last night with 5 minutes left in regulation.

Did not think I'd get to watch an entire 60 minute hockey game.

This is gonna be an awesome 7 games.

Of course they are better than an OK team - they are in the cup finals. They didn't play like an "OK" team for a good chunk of the season.

What a boring playoff series this has been. No fun to watch at all.

Hands down the best Stanley Cup Finals of our lifetime.

And considering I didn't think they would make it out of round 1...this is all gravy!

If they lose the series, they lose it to the best team in the NHL this year.

I used to get depressed when I was younger, watching this stuff happen.

Now it's more like "I can't believe I missed two putts within 17 feet......"

It was a fun ride, though!

I had just enough time to get excited for another OT game and ultimately game 7 when it was all pulled away from me. Its a good thing I like the Blackhawks or I may not have dealt well with it.

At least I got to watch Shaw bleed pretty much all game. I do not like him at all. Raffi Torres Jr.

I thought he was dead after he didn't move, and then they went right to a commercial.

Agreed, hard to hate Chicago. Great series.
