Sean Franchi wrote:Flatrock par is now 59. the order of holes will be changing soon. basically after playing one and walking down the street when you go in at the gate dip left instead of right. There is a tee area marked by 2 blue paint slashes on the new rock wall. you'll see the fairway. what you are doing is playing to old 4's basket from there. next you go to old 5,6,7 then to old 2 and old 3 (the hanger) is the last hole you play before going back up the street. new tee signs and score cards coming soon, our goal is to have this done by the doubles finals in April 2012

Played the new 4 today; shot a 6. Gotta go straight up to the old tee right off the bat or you're screwed. Will shoot better next time. Nice job Franchi!

bridge to 8 is done ! nice job Nate, Glen, Bobka, Mika Ralph and Bob.
so when you are walking back up the street after playing holes 2 thru 7 take a right on the new wooden bridge and the path will wind it's way over to tee off #8. now there is no more criss crossing in front of people playing hole #1.
thanks for helping !

I had a chance to play Flatrock for the first time this past weekend. What a blast! Sean showed us where to start, and from the sounds of it I came at the right time (after the new layout). 17 was a blast. I emptied my bag of mids TWICE on that hole. And I LOVED the hanging baskets. Great little hide away. The bugs were out in force but totally worth it. You guys have put a LOT of work into it, and it shows!

Umm....I couldn't remember which hole but its somewhere in the front 9.
I looked at the course map at DGCR but it was old layout. Need new map with new layouts. Are you making new one yet?
With the new map, I can point it out clearly.
Let's see if I can describe the hole and see if you guys know what hole I'm talking about....
The tee is above pass the rockwall. The basket is down the hill to slight left. OB Tree logs on the right with yellow rope around it. It's the Ace-run hole. What hole is it?

Patrick, that would be Hole #4 on the current layout (use to be old #6). Btw, any idea who won the drawing for the 10th anniversary Buzzz your friend raffled off as a fundraidser at the team challenge finals last week?

Thanks Arty for point out the hole #.
The raffle drawing for 10th anniversary Buzzz will happen on the day of Colonial Springs 2 (May 18th). Will announce/contact the lucky winner after that date.
It seems that many of us are going after that pretty hot pink Buzzz!!!
