We'll see who's throwing what on the 11th. I know that Luke and I can toss 450' any day. Measured with survey equipment on flat ground.

First off..I only state facts about my self on here..it sounds to me like certain pepole want me to down play my distance. Well I say f that..at the border land spring fling ,the 600ft mark was barely passed the middle of the feild. I have witnesses that have seen me throw 30ft from the road..thats like 700ish..so eat that

The 600ft mark was way over halfway across the field. It was about 100 ft from the 600 ft mark to the road infront of the mansion. From the middle road to the 600ft mark was over 200Ft. So not sure what your saying that it was barely over half way

If you absolutely want some kinda proof..take a look at the 2010 usdgc qual video..theres a clip of me clearing a 540 ft gap to reach an island green. And it was a hyzer shot. You would have to be a mentally retarded golfer to go for that shot if you didn't have the distance. It would still be stupid and risky if your max d was 550ft..so if I did with ease..and it was a hyzer shot..what does that say about my distance..honestly..I'm so sick of even talking about it, distance doesn't define me as a golfer, neither does my rating..this thread was about talking distance..im like a twin turbo hennesy viper..just believe I can hit 250mph

I here what your saying lucas..so that means I threw roughly 670 when I had witnesses..regardless of the exact whereabouts of the 600ft sign..my point still stands..I can throw really far..sorry for anyone who was expecting to see it at the fling, while it would have been great to drop some jaws..I work 58 hours every week, I was having a [bleep] time..I preferred to spend the rest of the weekend with my family ..im not type of guy to stick around just to prove my d is wicked crazy

it made me giggle to john..I guess you could say sumthin along those lines..I mean i wasnt hurt or anything..just felt like I had better things to do after my performance on sat. Im not sure when im going to play tourneys again because im very competitive, and only playing mabye once a week is turning me into a recreational golfer..

I'm the same way chain gang. Back in 07 when I was lighting it up, I was playing 3-4 times a week, easy. As that started to go down to 1-2 times per week, so did my results at events to the point where I didn't want to show up without being able to back it up. Let's get on a training regimen and get us both back to where we should be.

Did the Vineyard boys bust out their survey equipment to measure the gain in distance from throwing down hill...
503 ft might equal 450'.
I've watched the tape on Issac, and know where he finished in the USDGC D finals last year. I know his D is real. As for the others, I know Billy and Dore can rip it, I've seen that in person. Oh yeah, they shoot close to 1000 rated rounds to go with their D as well, based on the scores, it looked like Issac had a rough day, but I know for a fact on a more open course his D would be gaining shots on just about everyone...
Issac, you should go throw Wickham, you could really do some damage out there with your bonafide golf D.
I hear ya about not playing as much too... I've seen my round ratings and performance at tournies go down as well... gotta wait for the little one to grow up a bit to play as regularly as I did, oh yeah, this 9-5 thing doesn't help either, I was at my best when I was unemployed playing 3-5 times a week.

The wind Saturday was much better than Sunday. I was pumping most drives out at the 525 mark. Sunday my best was about 515. During the 3 disc throw off I burned 2 and had 1 that flipped somewhat that went 503
This Steve guy needs to learn to have some respect. After throwing there this weekend I can get more than 10 vouches that I can hit 500. Should have been there to check it out before you start trashing and insulting people.

And I saw you throwing Isaac and there is not a doubt in my mind you can hit? 600 plus just get why this Steve guy needs to be such a sarcastic dick.

Lucas don't let the seagull ruffle your feathers.
People saw you hucking out there and you had some really nice rips...500+ is definitely within your repertoire.
Solbo just likes to spew hate.

Enough talk about D....... There's a tourney in NY this Saturday that will make you back up all your talking.
Name your distance.
Take three shots at it.
Take home a shiny new basket if you're closest to your self-proclaimed "D".

is there a minimum distance requirement? Cuz I can throw "2 feet" pretty accurately, especially with 3 shots at it
seriously though, that sounds like a fun contest.

200ft minimum, 150 for ladies and juniors.
It is a fun contest because it gives the Rec players a shot at winning. Focuses more on your ability to read the distance, not just throw it.

Jeff, that's like the "guess your pitch speed" carnival game. If you're smart, you throw nowhere near your full pitch speed and replicate 3 times.
What's to keep someone from just taking an aviar and pussing one out 250ft?

How confident are you that you'll hit that 250' mark on the nose? Kenji won this contest last year and he was within a foot of his 290' guess.

On saturday I got to see Lucas throw a handful of shots from the flat to the left of the distance tee box and he threw quite a few over 500. I also got to witness Nick Economos throw his putter over 400 !
